Summary of Istanbul Nomad Cafes
Istanbul has great cafe where is laptop friendly.
My boyfriend and I are digital nomad couple. We love to try cafe in each cities.

Espresso Lab
I’ve been to 4 branches out of 43. They are the cafe for Digital nomads. They are impressive!

They have many seats. Specially upstairs is for working space.
The desks, the chairs… Perfect. I would like to call here co-working place.
Power points are on the desks.
WiFi is great. You need to log in every 2 hours, but it is not big deal.
Takisla
They don’t have upstairs but, they have a big courtyard.
Comfortable desk. Power point is under the desk.
WiFi is great. You need to log in every 2 hours, but it is not big deal.
Taksim
They have 3 floors. Many seats.
Power point is under the desk.
Top floor is a terrace. We can see the new mosque.
WiFi is great. You need to log in every 2 hours, but it is not big deal.
Karakoy
This brunch is smaller than others. It is sea front. Good view.
They have a good desk for working.
Power points are under the desk.
WiFi is great. You need to log in every 2 hours, but it is not big deal.
Espresso Lab is AMAZING nomad cafe. But I don’t like food there… ;( It wasn’t my taste.
Turkish-German Bookstore & Cafe
They have many seats on the upstairs. There are some good desk to work. Laptop friendly.
Many people are working/ studying. It makes comfortable to stay for long.
Coffee is tasty!
I couldn’t find any power point.
WiFi is not Good… Fine for searching, but not enough for updating.
iSTOS
It is a local small chilling cafe. It is really small.
The desk was good for working.

CAFE NOTE
It is a small cafe. Usually I don’t want to work for long at a small cafe because of feeling guilty. The cafe is trendy and nice.
I had flavour tea, I’m not sure about coffee taste. The tea was great.
I couldn’t find power point.

MOC Coffee Roastery *Permanently Closed
They have many seats, good desk to work. Not too busy.
Coffee is tasty.
They have power point for each desk. Laptop friendly.
WiFi is good, but sometimes it has problem. We need to ask to restart.
Permanently closed. It has changed to a restaurant.
Karabatak
It is a trendy cafe. They have many seats, and desk to work.
Good coffee.
I couldn’t find power point.
WiFi is not great…
They have upstairs which I didn’t realize. My Turkish friend recommended to have seat at up stairs if you work.
Kava Coffee
I’m not fun for the coffee taste here.
But working environment is good! The upstairs is good for working with some outlets.
Wifi speed test is DL 4.71, UL32.1
Mavra Cafe
Good atmosphere. Chill. Good staff.
It was too hot to work in Summer. The AC was off and opened one side.
Wifi speed was DL 22.4, UL 2.81
Books & Coffee
I really like it. The coffee is tasty. I’ve tried espresso machine one and filtered one. Both are good! Cheese cake set is just 22 TL.
I recommend to work the middle floor. Take the left stairs.
Good table and chairs to work and outlets on the table.
Wifi speed is DL 24.1, UL 2.59
The bathroom was clean. It was big + for me.
Federal Coffee Company
Australian style cafe. The coffee taste is good!
The inside is big. I recommend to work at the back.
Wifi speed is DL 16.5, UL 4.59
They have good breakfast too. And charge the service fee 10% on the top of the bill. You don’t need to think about tips.
Tiyop Cafe & Showroom
They have 2 good big tables to work. Others are small round tables.
The inside is decorated by greens. Feels good. The staff is nice. The coffee taste is bit bitter.
Wifi speed is DL 11.9, UL2.22
Goche’s Coffee
My local friend recommended. Many outlets and good tables to work.
Wifi is weak. The speed is DL 1.79, UL 0/58
The music choice is great. The coffee taste is good.
Olmadık Projeler
This is a kind of co-working place. A Dutch company has a office in this building. They are welcome to use the facility for Nomads. They have a downstairs where we can use too. But wifi is better at the ground floor.
If you are hungry, the staff can go to buy a sandwich for you. It is really nice place. I highly recommend.
